Pass the Dim Sum Every Day for a Year

I am an omnivorous ethnic eater who loves Turkish, Greek, Italian, French, Spanish, Russian, Thai, Korean, Vietnamese and many other cuisines, but if I had to choose just one for a year, it would be Chinese.

Dim sum, noodle dishes, fiery Szechuan, suave Mandarin, lots of duck, who could resist the variety of Chinese food. While I might miss the glories of risotto, the glories of cassoulet, and the satisfactions of moussaka, I could eat my fill of garlic eggplant and spicy green beans. If I had to choose one cuisine to sustain me for a year, I would choose the infinite pleasures of Chinese food.
