My husband pretended he was from Yakutsk in Siberia and was majoring in worm photography when he was doing his DMA in music. It stuck with me because his suitemate was Russian and thought, at first, that he was serious. The consequences were not so good because the guy was nuts and started a campaign of psychological warfare and eventually had to move out of the dorm.
