Being Comfortable Is Usually Better

I'm usually dressed in jeans or cycling clothes. Hey, you can do that when you are retired.

Now that I am retired, I seldom need to dress to impress. In fact, cycling jerseys make up a large part of my wardrobe. I live in a college town where casual attire is appropriate most of the time, even at nice restaurants and the theater. I try not to look grubby but I don't dress to impress. But if I had an invitation to the White House or to meet Queen Elizabeth, I might wear this little number.
